NSW Health – Laparoscopy during COVID-19

This evidence check from New South Wales Health dated the 25th of March 2020, asks whether laparoscopy should be avoided and classed as an aerosol procedure in patients at risk of COVID-19.

    staff
  • Operating staff should be cautious, aware, wear protective gear and take precautionary
    measures if conducting emergency laparoscopic surgery
